Scottish Women's Premier League

With Hibernian and Kilmarnock both postponing games due to the number of players away on international duty in France some of the SWPL's other sides took centre stage.

Third place Glasgow City consolidated their position with a 4-3 win at home over Raith Rovers. Two goals from Lauren Wheatley and one from Kirsty Scott pushed Glasgow City all the way, but even with striker Debbie McWhinnie away on international duty, the home side had enough firepower and goals from Lyndsey Birrell, Pauline McVeigh, Ann Houliston and Suzanne Lappin sealed the win.

Elsewhere, Newburgh leapfrogged Hamilton after a 5-3 win in the mid-table clash. Leanne Ross scored a hat-trick in the win with the remaining Newburgh goals coming from Erica Duncan and Jane Brown. Lesley Scanlan scored twice for Hamilton with Pamela Liddell scoring the third.

Giuliano's recorded a 5-0 win over Shettleston thanks to goals from Kirsty McConnell, Catherine Lafferty and Helen Templeton.
