Exmouth Town's Presentation Night

Presentation night a great triumph

Over 90 people came to the Ladies and Youth presentation night. The night was enjoyed byS everyone and the club house was heaving.

Awards

Top goalscorer
Nicola Smallacombe - pictured right (29 Goals)

Nic has been with the club from the start. She has played for her local school and spent a seaon with Rolle Rockets! Her main ability is to strike the ball correctly which has shown itself with the 29 goals she has scored for the club. Well done Nic.
Goal of the season
Kath Wright - pictured left

Kath is another founder player. Her goal portfolio is brilliant, but the best goal has to be the one she scored against Torquay. Dom floated the ball from the left, Kath was just outside the 18yrd box being marked by 3 Torquay players with her back to the goal, Kath followed the flight of the ball over her right shoulder, turned into the ball slightly, chested it down, still blind to the goal, turned & cracked the ball into the top left hand corner. Well played Kath.
Seasons team player
Sarah Lawler - pictured right

Sarah is the most experienced player in the squad, having played for Clevedon and Yeovil. This trophy was awarded to her for the commitmant she has shown to the team. Her skills have certainly brought a higher level of football to the squad. Well done Sarah.
Most improved player
Carlie Lowe - pictured left

This award is given by the coaches. Carlie has played an ever increasing roll in the centre of defence. A position that isn't easy. Carlie has shown great determination in what she does well as taking on the coache's advice. Well done Carlie.
Club involvement award
Netty Reynolds - pictured right
Players player
Rachel Johnstone - pictured left

Rachel is without a dealt deserving this award in fact there wasn't a single award she wasn't nominated for, which goes to show the sort of player she is. The role Rachel plays on match day is outstanding. Well done Rachel.
Managers player
Sally Dye - Pictured right

Sally began playing football at the age of twelve, the team she played for was Exmouth Town.

She returned to football at the beginning of last year only to rip her achils tendom. After a nine week break she returned. She spent a few weeks on the bench but was then back on the pitch. Sally fought very hard to gain a place in the starting line up. She has complemented the players with her football knowledge and verbal dominance. Well done Sally.
Final word
Well done to all the team for the outstanding play for the season. We hope you can keep it up for next season and continue to improve and gain more experience of playing football.
