Cornwall Trophies Cup (Preliminary Round)

Camelford 11-0 Kerrier Terriers
Camelford were seven up against Kerrier Terriers at half time, going on to win 11-0. Sam Horwell put five past stand-in keeper Emma Robinson, Anita Symons added a hat-trick, with Zoe Bennett scoring once and Harlow Simm's brace being her first goals ever. Terriers suffered some first-half injuries but got some forward momentum going after the break. Camelford will host Bude or Wadebridge in the next round.
Penryn P-P Penzance Res
Penryn could not field a team for their cup-tie, which may now be rescheduled for a midweek date. The game may have to be switched to Penzance, who have added Helen Stubbs to their reserves squad. Meanwhile first-team defender Sara Dickson has recovered from injury, in good time for their FA Cup trip to Ross Town in September.
St.Columb Minor 4-2 Stoke Climsland
St.Columb Minor shared their four goals around that defeated Stoke Climsland 4-2. Micky Cushen, Kirsty Dilley, Amy Jarvis and Jody Newark all scored for the hosts, who now face Wendron in the next round. Sarah Blowey netted both goals for the visitors.
Holmans 0-6 Liskeard Athletic
Liskeard's 6-0 win at Holmans gives them a first round tie at Launceston.
St.Breward 3-0 St.Agnes
Roche P-P Tamarside
Hayle 2-6 St.Blazey
St.Blazey made the most of the wind at their backs in the first-half to build up a 3-0 lead at Hayle. Sue Woodman's 30-yard effort bounced over the keeper, Kim Woods doubled the lead, with Leesa Grainger putting in to hit the third. Anna Wherry made it 4-0 one minute after the start, Ayeisha Dyer then scoring after a long run. Hayle pulled two goals back through Tracy Davies and Amy Drinkwater, before Wherry scored her second to make the final score 6-2.

Hayle's charity match with Holmans has now been put back to September 8th.

Bude Town P-P Wadebridge Town
(Wadebridge could not field a team)
Falmouth Town 1-9 Madron
Gemma Oldfield scored for Falmouth Town but they went out 9-1 at home to Madron. Madron will travel to St.Blazey in the next round.
Marazion 1-0 Mullion
A Jo Barker shot, which crept under the Mullion keeper, gave Marazion a 1-0 victory and a first round tie at home to St.Ives. Goalkeeper Jane Wills kept Mullion out, with an important interception from Lesley protecting the Blues lead.

Friendlies

Goonhavern 1-3 Launceston
Three defensive errors led to Goonhavern's 3-1 friendly loss to Launceston, the visitors having been on top during the first-half. L.A.Reeks headed home a corner for the hosts, who dominated the second-half.
Newquay Development 5-1 Caerphilly Cougars
Tamsin Keat scored a hat trick as Newquay's youngsters beat Caerphilly Cougars 5-1 in a friendly. The Welsh side levelled at 1-1 before going behind by half time. Kimberley Eek and Carla Pas also scored as Newquay added a third after the restart and two late goals.
