Scottish Women's Premier League Round up

The Top trio in the Scottish Women’s Premier League City all maintained their title hopes, at the top of the SWPL recording wins to maintain their lead ahead of the chasing pack.

League Leader’s Hibernian, maintained their five-point lead at the top of
the table with a 10-0 win away to Shettleston.

Deadly duo Pauline Hamill and Suzanne Malone both scored
hat-tricks in the win with Julia Ralph, Suzanne Robertson, Laura Kennedy and Amanda Burns all adding to the score.

But reigning Champions Kilmarnock and Glasgow City are not giving up and kept the pressure on the Edinburgh side with victories over Ross County and Cove Rangers respectively.

Kilmarnock had a tough time getting through an improving Ross County side but eventually recorded a 3-1 win at Inverness.

Stacey Cook gave Killie the lead before half-time, However Scotland captain Julie Fleeting equalised for Ross County just after the interval.

Midway through the second half though Kilmarnock went back ahead through Joanne Love and Cook finished the match with her second goal of the match.

Glasgow City also had a tough time against Cove Rangers with a second half penalty eventually giving them a 3-2 win.

Elsewhere Hamilton beat an injury-hit Raith Rovers side 4-0 with goals from Nicola Docherty, Lynsey Hogg and Lesley Scanlan. While Newburgh took a 6-2 victory
over East Kilbride with Laura Smith, Erica Duncan, Leanne Ross, Diane Fraser and Tracey Burns all scoring for Newburgh.
