Soothe Sporting Scrapes with TCP

Watch out! Often cuts and grazes go hand in hand with out-of-doors sporting activities. That’s why you should make sure you’re prepared with an effective first aid treatment such as TCP - so you can act fast.

TCP can be easily packed into a sports bag or first aid kit for those on-the-spot out-of door injuries. TCP’s dual action antiseptic and local anaesthetic make it an ideal remedy, it is great for soothing cuts, grazes, bumps and bruises.

To help you beat those knocks and scrapes, TCP has put together a quick list of useful first aid tips. These include...
For minor cuts and grazes
  • Carefully clean the area around the wound with warm water and sterile swab where possible. Remember to always work from the wound outwards.
  • Remove any loose foreign matter from around the wound such as gravel or dirt.
  • Apply TCP liquid Antiseptic diluted in equal parts, to clean and protect the wound from infection. Apply TCP Antiseptic Cream or Ointment to cuts and grazes to soothe the pain.
  • Apply a clean dressing or plaster to the wound.
For bruising
  • Place a cold compress on the injury to minimise the swelling.

TCP Range

TCP has a whole range of treatments for your first aid troubles...
  • TCP Liquid Antiseptic - great for cleaning and helping to protect wounds from infection, is available in a handy 50ml bottle as well as 100ml and 200ml packs.
  • TCP Antiseptic Cream and TCP Antiseptic Ointment have the same dual action formula as TCP Liquid. Both treatments can be applied directly to cuts after they have been cleansed to help soothe and protect the wound.
