Business-focused IT consultancy, Leading Resolutions, has seen another transformation project reach a successful conclusion. The beneficiary in this case, however, is not a blue chip organisation typical of the company’s usual client profile, but Luton Town Belles Under 12s girls football team.
In early 2011, things weren’t looking good for the Under 12s. Their previous sponsor had withdrawn and the team badly needed financial support. So local lad Jeff Motto, CEO of Leading Resolutions, life-long Hatters fan and uncle of Belles player, Charlotte Motto, stepped in to provide the team with a new kit, including tracksuits and bags.
And the investment has paid off. Luton Town Belles Under 12s have won the 2011/12 Chiltern Junior Sevens (CJS) league. Undefeated after 15 games, the team has racked up an unassailable 28 points, scoring 78 goals and conceding just 6 in the process.
Luton Town Ladies was formed in 1997 and in the 15 years since, the youth section has thrived through hard work and dedication, with several players graduating to the first team. At grass roots level there is a feeling that the FA hasn’t promoted girls football, so sponsorship from a dynamic business such as Leading Resolutions sends an inspiring message of confidence in youth football.
The Under 12s and Under 13s play in the CJS League with a usual kick-off time of 10.30am on Saturdays. Home games are played at Lancaster Avenue, Luton.
