Smart Nutrition for Girls on the go

The benefits of specialised nutrition for women is undeniable, and according to a wealth of research, girls on the go and at the gym could be seriously hurting their health by ignoring some nutritional help.

Though nearly 60% of gym-goers are girls, a mere 0.5% use sports nutrition and can be diminishing their weight loss or toning goals because of it.

“Female bodies are unique and have unique nutritional needs,” said Daniel Herman, nutritionist and Director of Bio-Synergy supplements. “Their bone, muscle, and vitamin requirements are all highly specialised.”

Sports supplements have a macho image that scares many women away, but the immense benefits to be gained from smart nutritional help like protein shakes and recovery drinks can’t be denied.

This incredible disconnect inspired television presenter Melanie Sykes to pair up with nutritional specialist Bio-Synergy to release the Active Woman sports nutrition range.

“Over the past couple of years, I have become a serious gym bunny and am far more aware of the importance of a proper nutrition regime,” said Melanie. “Working with Bio-Synergy on a range for women who, like me, are serious about working out has been really exciting.”

“I would happily recommend the range to anyone who wants to get the best out of their workout and help maintain a healthy regime. And the shakes taste yummy!”

The 41-year old mother of two is renowned for hitting the gym hard, earning her a figure young beyond her years.

The new Active Woman range will feature 5 different products to meet the specific needs of women who, like Melanie, exercise or play sport regularly but haven’t found the proper nutrition to back them up.

“It’s vital for women to rely on targeted nutrition like Active Woman that will safeguard the gains they make in the gym,” said Daniel Herman.

Active Woman products contain a range of vitamins, micronutrients, and important amino acids to ensure complete body health in all aspects of an active lifestyle.
